Little did they know that by the time they returned home, they’d have the bones of their debut project.

Go Dance for Change

Go Dance for Change is a cross-cultural platform producing social spaces that use dance as their primary tool to connect people.

We connect people & performers to new dance opportunities and who wish to engage effectively with and learn more about a diverse and multicultural demographic within Ireland. This is done through a variety of immersive and engaging dance-related activities such as workshops, parades, performances, and online & live events - focusing on sharing culture, promoting health and integration through dance.

It started in 2018 focusing on rhythms originating in Africa and from the African diaspora in the Americas, placing a strong emphasis on wellbeing, community building and female empowerment. Its aim is to highlight diverse cultures and its people in the hopes of decolonising the narratives within the dance scene in Ireland.
